Grand Marais Arts Festival

LOCATION
Cook County Schools, 101 W 5th Street
While traditionally the event takes place on Wisconsin Street, the 2022 Grand Marais Arts Festival will be at the Cook County Schools due to two building projects happening on Wisconsin Street this summer. Note that there are NO road closures.
PARKING
Parking will be available at the Cook County YMCA Parking Lot and the Cook County Community Center. Street Parking is also available nearby.
ART
There will be 83 booths featuring art from around the region. A full list of this year’s juried artists is included below. Keep scrolling!
MUSIC
Music will play in both lots this year. Get ready to groove to Fred Anderson, Bump Blomberg, Roxanne & Briand Morrison, Jim McGowan, Jim Miller, Michelle Miller and Joe Paulik.
FOOD TRUCKS
We are pleased to add local food trucks this year. Grab a bite from The Bad Seed, The Crooked Spoon, Crosby Bakery, and Fisherman’s Daughter.
75th ANNIVERSARY RECEPTION
July 9 | 6 – 8 PM
Our 75th Anniversary Reception coincides with Arts Festival! Join us to celebrate this milestone and help raise funds for expanded programming and fellowships!
Enjoy wines from North Shore Winery, food from local eateries, and acoustic guitar music from Briand Morrison.
There will be a brief program celebrating place and artistic inspiration at 6:45 with board members and keynote speaker Sheila M. Smith, retired Executive Director of Minnesota Citizens for the Arts.
